A leading coatings company is seeking a Technical Advisor to execute training programs and provide technical support in coatings. This role involves delivering training sessions, guiding product selection, and managing application tools. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil Engineering, or Architecture and have at least 6 months of technical experience. Basic English and travel availability are required. As a Technical Advisor, you will execute training and technical service programs focused on the PPG Comex network, end customers, and internal staff. You will provide specialized support in coatings through hands‑on training, customer guidance, and maintenance of tools and facilities, contributing to the achievement of national and divisional sales goals.

You will report directly to our Training Manager!

This Job is located in Guadalajara

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver theoretical and practical training sessions on coating application to customers, internal staff, and store personnel, at Integral Training Centers or customer‑designated facilities
  • Provide guidance on product selection, application techniques, and performance, addressing questions and recommending technical solutions
  • Document relevant information, recommendations, and assessments regarding product performance in the field
  • Manage the maintenance and availability of application tools, vehicles, and training spaces
  • Participate in multiple activities such as product testing, technical visits, and coordination with departments like Marketing and Manufacturing
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with professional license in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture (non‑negotiable due to CONOCER certification requirements)
  • 6 months of experience in technical roles (preferably field‑based)
  • Technical Knowledge of Coating application and technical customer support
  • Basic English (ability to interpret technical texts and videos)
  • Time availability to travel
  • Drive knowledge in standard and automatic vehicles (valid driver's license)
