About the Role :
Project Manager – Solar & BESS , you will lead the delivery of utility-scale projects across Italy from ready-to-build through to commissioning. This includes managing contractors, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. The role is based in Italy, with flexible / hybrid working and travel to project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities : Manage project delivery from ready-to-build through to commissioning and handover Coordinate and oversee site construction activities, including civil, electrical, and mechanical works Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site to ensure timely and quality execution Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources; report progress to senior management Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations, permits, and quality standards Act as the main point of contact between site teams, internal departments, and external stakeholders Oversee grid connection process and interface with DNO / TSO and relevant authorities
Requirements Minimum 4 years’ experience in renewable energy project delivery Background in solar PV and / or BESS preferred Strong understanding of Italian permitting and grid processes Fluent in Italian and English Engineering or technical background ideal Willingness to travel across Italy
