A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team is integral in coordinating all functional areas to ensure the achievement of commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, and internal communications, along with performing day-to-day administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for implementing the hotel’s marketing plan and activities to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to target markets, and meet hotel business needs. Your specific tasks will include:
- Coordinating and assisting with the delivery of marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting results as directed by the Line Manager.
- Supporting the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and maintaining media libraries.
- Promoting hotel marketing activities to the media across all departments.
- Supporting internal communications, including regional updates, press releases, newsletters, speeches, and management interviews.
- Supporting marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, exhibitions, and property inspections.
- Managing media relations, tracking social media, updating press kits, archiving news, maintaining media databases, and coordinating interviews.
- Organising media familiarisation trips and entertaining local media where appropriate.
- Assisting with on-site photoshoots and filming, ensuring all administrative approvals are completed.
- Monitoring and supporting social media activities, ensuring brand standards are maintained.
- Supporting loyalty marketing activities and executing content strategies across digital platforms.
- Responding to customer posts and addressing complaints as needed.
Managing Execution
- Supporting content management across hotel websites, OTAs, social media, and partnership programs.
- Developing reports on marketing activities and results.
- Maintaining and growing hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
- Monitoring local news and informing management of potential impacts.
- Assisting with marketing and PR initiatives, including competitive analysis and content review.
- Ensuring all marketing and PR content and archives are up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Supporting crisis communication and achieving performance goals set by the Line Manager.
Developing Talent

- Establishing effective communication with all hotel disciplines and external partners.
- Maintaining relationships with media, community organizations, government officials, and suppliers.
