Alfa Laval Olmi, for Suisio site, is searching for a Technical Buyer.

Based upon the Alfa Laval sourcing objectives, commodity strategy and initiatives, execute and develop the Optimal Supplier Base solution regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost on the goods/services to be delivered to specified sites in line with Alfa Laval Purchasing Process.

Role activity:

1. Create/update supplier agreements and/or processes considering optimal total cost, risk exposure, product mix.
2. Execute supplier qualification procedures.
3. Drive commercial development activities.
4. Drive supplier relationship.
5. Drive supplier performance.
6. Focus and follow up on daily results related to the three defined shared goals for purchasing (quality, delivery, cost).

Characteristics of the position:

• Fluent in English
• Data analysis competence
• Negotiation and communication skills
• Technical background (Mechanical, Material or Industrial)
• Previous experience in same role and sector is preferable.
