Position Purpose

Experienced refrigeration technician dedicated to performing field service activities on refrigeration units for HVAC and production systems (civil and industrial installations).

The candidate will be responsible for startup interventions, as well as routine and extraordinary maintenance on air and water-cooled refrigeration units, including scroll, screw, centrifugal compressors, and absorbers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance accurately according to defined protocols to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of chillers.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement appropriate solutions to restore proper unit operation promptly.
• Identify potential technical improvements and modernization activities for refrigeration units and other HVAC components.
• Support and collaborate proactively with sales teams to determine the most suitable technical solutions for clients.
• Prepare clear and precise intervention reports to communicate activities performed or recommended to clients.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

• High school diploma (electronic or electrical technician or similar).
• At least 5 years of proven experience with refrigeration units (scroll, screw, centrifugal, absorbers) from major HVAC brands.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and mechanical operation of systems, with practical skills in brazing and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong customer management skills.
• F-Gas certification.
• Residence preferably in Milan or Lombardy area.
• Driver's license (category B).
• Willingness to travel nationally.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Knowledge of French and/or English.
• Knowledge of automation, control, and monitoring systems.
• Experience with data-center installations.
