As part of the General Management Department you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering Sephora Italy’s main strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Execution
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource allocation in close alignment with Sephora Italy’s strategic goals.
- Lead and manage all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans, agreed schedules and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Cross‑Functional Team Coordination
- Effectively collaborate with diverse cross‑functional teams across store operations, marketing, supply chain, finance and external partners/vendors.
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Resolve conflicts and remove roadblocks to enable team members to perform at their best.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
- Maintain regular and transparent communication with the General Manager, CODIR and key stakeholders, providing timely updates on project progress, challenges and opportunities.
- Prepare and present insightful project status reports, highlighting key achievements, risks and proposed mitigation strategies.
- Budget Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost‑effective resource allocation and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Monitor project expenditures, proactively identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management).
- Significant experience (8+ years) in project management with a demonstrated focus on retail operations and/or marketing projects.
- Excellent understanding of the Italian retail market landscape.
- Exceptional leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to effectively coordinate and motivate cross‑functional teams.
- PMP or other recognized project management certification is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Italian and English is essential.
