RINA is currently recruiting for a Global Legal Affairs Support Advisor - Maternity leave to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the RINA Group Legal Affairs & Board Liaison Division.

Mission

The Legal Counsel provides strategic legal advice, manage legal risks, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, thereby supporting RINA global operations and business objectives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Insurance Contracts:
    • Maintain relationships with brokers and manage insurance requests for the Group Companies.
  • Corporate governance:
    • Organizing shareholders and board meetings and draft relevant minutes for the foreign subsidiaries of the group.
    • Provide legal assistance, with the support of external advisor where necessary, to the foreign subsidiaries of the group.
3. Contract Management
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure that contractual terms are legally sound and protect the company's interests.
4. Legal Research
  • Conduct legal research on relevant topics, including regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Analyze legal issues and provide recommendations to management as needed.
Education

Master’s Degree

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably with experience in a global company or law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial law, contracts and insurance management.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
  • Experience in managing and supervising legal matters across multiple jurisdictions is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; French and Spanish are a plus.
