Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for a QA Auditor/Inspector for a long term project based at supplier in Massa area.

The ideal candidate will need to oversee, manage, and coordinate Quality Health Checks with our vendor in Avenza. These checks are focused, topic-specific audits aimed at monitoring and continuously improving key quality aspects during project execution, proactively identifying and mitigating risks before they escalate.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct Quality Health Checks in collaboration with the vendor, ensuring timely execution and proper documentation.
  • Liaise daily with the vendor’s quality team and internal stakeholders to address findings, agree on actions, and monitor their closure.
  • Act as the focal point on site for all Quality Health Check activities, ensuring alignment with project quality plans and expectations and building lesson learnt.
  • Support overall project quality assurance activities, including inspections, NCR follow-up and supplier engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records, issue reports and track KPIs related to Health Check performance.
  • Ensure compliance with US regulations, NFPA, ASME and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Proactively identify quality risks and work collaboratively to implement preventive measures.
  • Participate in internal and external quality meetings and provide technical input as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within industrial or EPC projects (preferably in Oil & Gas or Energy sectors).
  • Solid experience in vendor management, audit/inspection coordination and document review.
  • Knowledge of US codes and standards (e.g., ASME, NFPA, AWS) is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to influence vendors and internal teams.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Italian language is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Quality (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
