Description

The Data Science Manager will be responsible for:

1. Define and lead the execution of data strategy in line with business goals.
2. Design and optimize data models for both structured and unstructured datasets.
3. Build, test, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to address complex business challenges.
4. Utilize data mining, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling to extract insights and support strategic decisions.
5. Develop sophisticated pattern recognition and forecasting models to anticipate trends and enhance operations.
6. Stay at the forefront of statistical advancements and apply cutting-edge techniques to real-world problems.
7. Establish robust standards for data quality, security, and compliance.
8. Translate analytical results into actionable business insights, aligning with strategic objectives.
9. Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to turn business needs into data solutions.
10. Lead agile initiatives to ensure iterative progress and timely delivery of high-impact solutions.
11. Manage and mentor a remote, cross-functional team of data professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.

Profile

A successful candidate will have:

1. Strong foundation in data modeling, database architecture, and optimization.
2. Deep expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and business intelligence techniques.
3. Skilled in building pattern recognition and predictive analytics systems.
4. Proficient in ML/DL tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
5. Programming expertise in Python, R, or Java.
6. Hands-on experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
7. Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
8. Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
9. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
