Financial & Analytical Responsibilities

The role involves monitoring and analyzing operational costs—including labor, equipment, and warehouse occupancy—to ensure budget efficiency and cost control. It also requires reviewing and interpreting key financial metrics such as accruals and basic Profit & Loss (P&L) reports to support strategic decision-making. The position includes approving daily labor and overtime requests based on operational needs and budget constraints.

Additionally, the role drives data-driven initiatives to improve cost-effectiveness and overall operational performance. Financial and performance insights must be reported to the direct manager, accompanied by actionable recommendations.

Operational Responsibilities

The role is responsible for leading the implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This includes designing and maintaining an effective operational structure that promotes high performance, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The position also involves collaborating closely with Warehouse Supervisors to monitor and optimize warehouse productivity, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization. Additionally, the role requires reviewing and approving changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to maintain process consistency and compliance, as well as coordinating with internal departments such as Audit, HSE, HR, and Transport to ensure smooth and compliant operations.

In terms of people and customer management, the role includes conducting regular employee performance reviews and coordinating with HR and the General Operations Manager for development and succession planning. It also involves developing team capabilities through structured training aligned with the skills matrix, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement among operations staff. Furthermore, the position is expected to build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and support long-term partnerships.

A bachelor’s degree in any major is required, with preference given to fields such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.

The role requires a minimum of five years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within contract logistics, along with a strong understanding of inventory management principles and operational workflows. Candidates should be proficient in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, and experience in business correspondence is considered an advantage. Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as Lean and Six Sigma, as well as a basic understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, is also required. Additionally, the role demands proven leadership and people management capabilities, supported by a strong track record of developing teams.
