About the role

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efficient, cost‑effective, and on time delivery of finished goods to end users or inter‑warehouses. The full‑time position is based in Cibitung, MM2100 and reports to the Transport & Planning Manager.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and optimize the most efficient and cost‑effective routes, modes of transport, and schedules for outbound and inbound shipments.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with various transport providers.
• Coordinate and monitor shipment of goods, ensuring correct shipping documentation is prepared and matched to the load and adheres to shipping regulations.
• Coordinate with related parties and handle communication for delays or issues.
• Control delivery ticket and check invoices for accuracy against contracted rates.
• Lead the team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.
• Ensure that internal and external HSEQ requirements are followed.

What we’re looking for

• University background with minimum 5 years of experience in transportation or logistic supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of transportation or shipment operations, supply chain processes and HSEQ regulation.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems, transportation tracking and data analysis, ERP & Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in shifting system if necessary.
• A passion for continuous improvement and a customer‑centric mindset.
