Job description
Talent Performance and Development Activities Plan

Develop talent performance and development Activities plan as aligned with VP Talent Management strategies and People and Culture policies and procedures in order to optimize both individual and organizational performance.

Talent Performance and Development strategies implementation and management.

Control and evaluate talent performance and development day-to-day operation which may include employee performance review, employee performance appraisal, competencies assessment, personality assessment, individual development plan, coaching, mentoring and other talent performance and development activities in order to develop solid foundation of the organization and at the same time drive employee motivation.

Formulate and recommend organization and individual performance management tools, which include cascading divisional/functional KPI to individual KPI and align it with reward and recognition strategy that can motivate and boost employee performance and contribute to organization’s short and long-term goals.

Manage employee competencies assessment and personality assessment, and compiling the result to provide VP Talent Management and related talents Leaders a thorough talents profile to identify their successor and to map talents in Talent Inventory.

Formulate and recommend employees individual development plan and divisional/functional development plan initiatives (such as Training, Seminar, OJT, talent mobility, etc.) by analyzing the discrepancy of employee’s performance appraisal result and expected divisional/functional result and divisional/functional priority in order to strengthen employee’s capacity.

Control and evaluate the development and implementation of organization’s coaching/mentoring initiatives and activities as part of employee’s development program based on talent inventory review and succession Plan, which include ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of current coaching and mentoring system, method, and education cycle/curricula in order to strengthen employee’s competencies and capacity.

Coordinate with Continuous L&D Sr. Manager to formulate and control training, seminars, learning forum and other learning activities in the organization with consideration of training/learning need analysis in order to improve the learning programs to develop employee’s competencies and capacity.

Supervise, coach and develop direct reports and other staff with responsibilities for talent performance and development related to performance management, individual and organization development plan, and coaching and mentoring in order to ensure the achievement of Talent Performance and Development plan.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Management, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in Talent Management, HR Development, or related areas.

At least 3 years of leadership or people management experience.

Knowledge and Skills (General & Technical)
  • Proven track record in performance management and/or learning and knowledge management, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of personal development curricula in similar industries, covering both technical and behavioral competencies, with the ability to identify and select appropriate learning programs for both organizational and individual needs.
  • Strong understanding of the organization’s business value chain and strategic objectives to effectively identify priority and critical learning and development initiatives.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to build trust-based relationships with employees and the leadership team, as well as to develop, empower, and manage the team under direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to conduct regular and effective communication with both the leadership team and staff members.
