Job description

Overview

System Administrator (SysAdmin) role with focus on installation, configuration, maintenance, security, and support of cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The position requires strong Linux system administration skills, scripting, and knowledge of cloud and network fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related major.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for senior roles.
• Proficient in Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting.
• Basic network administration and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Proficient in Google Cloud Environment, VMware, or Nutanix.
• Proficient in scripting using Bash and Python for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of basic application security (WAF, API protection, bot detection, and DDoS protection).
• Knowledge of basic replication and backup strategies.
• Knowledge of basic firewall and load balancing (value added).
• Ability to install, configure, provision VMs, and configure NAS.
• Support OS installation, package installation, and maintain correct versions.
• Manage services and support for communications/network and other cloud infrastructure products.
• Ensure infrastructure security and company data protection (EDR/XDR, OS hardening, firewall hardening, ISO27001, etc.).
• Maintain and monitor Disaster Recovery, data center and backhaul server room, cloud resources, and infrastructure performance.
• Familiarity with PAM tools such as CyberArk or similar is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to write clear and detailed technical documentation.
