Overall responsibilities are for supervising tax, accounting, finance and treasury activities for PT. Bali Coklat as required. This includes ensuring all relevant transaction cycles are properly recorded, classified, summarized, analysed, reconciled and reported accordingly. This position plays a key role in supporting the Head of Finance.
EXPECTED OF EXPERIENCE
3 - 5 years of experience with increasing roles and responsibilities ranging from senior staff to supervisor level.
Undergraduate University Degree (S1) qualified in Accountancy.
SUMMARY OF CORE DUTIES
TAXATION
- Tax Compliance. Ensure company meets all regulatory requirements in relation to taxes: Compliance handling from corporate income tax, local and imported income tax withholding, value added tax charge, state taxation (CIT, VAT, WHT (Art. 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 29, 4 v.2 etc.), return notes, deductible/non-deductible expenses & nominative list for annual tax return purpose. Regular reconciliation, equalization to ensure data matching and properly cross-checked. On time deposit, filing/reporting to Tax Office.
- Tax Planning and Optimization. Identify opportunities to optimise the company tax position.
- Tax Relationships. Maintain good coordination and cooperation with Tax Consultants, Authorities, and External/Internal Auditors.
ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING
- Monthly Accounts Reporting. Prepare financial reports which include series of accounting cycles activities such as: Complete accounts reconciliation/balance sheet schedules; Maintain fixed assets movements and depreciation; Ensure adjustment entries and amortizations are properly booked; Close the book, prepare comparative analysis and schedule for review with Head of Finance and Management; Submission to Shareholders and Lenders.
- Prepare Quarterly & Annual Statutory Reporting.
- Liaise with External Auditor for Financial Statements Audit.

OTHERS SKILL / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Exposure to manufacturing and retail industries.
- Experience handling taxation practices within Tax Consultancy firms is highly desirable.
- Prior working stint in audit/accounting firms is a plus.
- Accustomed to Accounting Information System / Software (Zoho/Accurate/ Xero/QuickBooks/MYOB/etc.).
- Conversant in Tax Application such as e-SPT, e-Faktur, e-Bupot.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive).
- Fluent in Bahasa and English (both verbal and written).
