A prominent apparel retail company in Indonesia is seeking candidates for a Store Management Trainee position. The role involves leading a team, achieving sales targets, and managing stock effectively. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training across multiple outlets and may be promoted to Area Manager based on performance. Proficiency in English or Mandarin and diploma or degree qualifications are required for this position. This role involves travel across Indonesia.
6 Month Training Program which will require to relocation up to 2 - 3 outlets
Candidates will be trained in store as a management trainee. After the physical training been conducted, a certain period of work and learning in the stores enable the candidates to familiar with the store operation and business skills.
Upon completion of the practical programme, the successful candidates will work as store PIC in the store, and can also be nominated as store managers based on outstanding performance, both are responsible for the store.
Lead, motivate and mentor his team in achieving high level of performance and productivity in order maximizing sales opportunity, minimize loss of sales opportunity to achieve the sales target given.
Conduct stocktake in store to control stock loss to the minimum level and manage storeroom stock in efficiency way
Able to handle and execute Visual Merchandise in store by following VM standard
Ensure full compliance of company’s SOP, policies and procedures, profit protection measures, rules and regulations
Build a strong sales and service culture within team members/work place.
Able to handle paperwork of month closing for Finance & HR
After gaining few stores experience, Store Manager outstanding performance will be promoted as Area Managers, and will be responsible for the operation and sales performance of several areas of storesess expansion of or transfer to other country for business
Candidate must possess at least diploma or degree.
Working experience in the apparel retailing field will be preferred.
A good knowledge of ENGLISH or MANDARIN, and proficiency in speaking and writing.
Strong sense of responsibility, good presentation, communication skills, and applicable for a long term travel time in different places.
