Responsibilities

Title: Staff Firmware Engineer

Location: Cikarang, Indonesia

Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies firmware enhancements and/or new products used in embedded systems, which could range from bare metal systems to system on modules board system. Using current embedded programming language and technologies, most notably C/C++, writes code, completes programming, do code compilation, and performs testing and debugging onboard firmware applications. Completes detailed design and development documentation. Keep code version using versioning system (git preferable). Interact heavily with team to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a firmware development team and participate in team projects
• Assist in design, development and troubleshooting of firmware sub-systems
• Complete deliverables in identified schedules
• Assist with problem investigation and resolution
• Assist in implementing firmware process improvements

Skills and Experience Required

• Min. 3 years of experience in firmware development or microcontroller programming
• Fluent user of C/C++ language
• Comprehend a basic digital/computer architecture
• Experienced in at least one completed real world/commercial embedded system project
• Knowledge about device communication protocol is a plus
• Knowledge about digital security is a plus
