About the role

This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of warehouse inventory records by leading stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory variance investigations, while driving continuous improvement in inventory control processes and warehouse discipline.

In this role, you will:

  • Establish inventory control and governance based on TGS
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct periodic stocktakes in line with business and compliance requirements
  • Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure all variances are investigated and signed off by Finance in line with the stocktake process
  • Review and record item conditions and storage recommendations to improve shelf life
  • Provide stocktake and cycle count training to project-based staff as required
  • Conate excess and non-moving inventory for redistribution
  • Travel to site as required to support stocktaking requirements
  • Review potential obsolete stock holdings within warehouses
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute stocktakes in accordance with business requirements
About you
  • Bachelor’s or Diploma qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline
  • Three years working in warehousing / inventory related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • SME in the use of computerised warehouse and inventory management systems
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
