Job description

PIPECARE is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager.

The general role for the PM includes managing PIPECARE's operational projects at the corporate office and subsidiaries. These projects involve mobilizing resources to Oil & Gas fields, servicing pipelines, arranging field surveys and verifications, demobilizing equipment, and reporting. The candidate will lead a project team, overseeing project budgets and execution.

Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities:
  • Prepare, sign, and submit pigging reports, daily reports, and other relevant reports to the Project Manager.
  • Discuss equipment and tools requirements, including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, toolboxes, and other field tools.
  • Report non-compliances, near-misses, etc.
  • Attend safety, technical, and professional development courses/trainings.
  • Study and analyze project documents, operation manuals, pigging procedures, and related materials.
  • Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel to foster friendly relations.
  • Manage and develop the team to execute fieldwork safely, effectively, and efficiently, adhering to time, resource, and financial plans.
  • Authorize stopping work at the site if unsafe conditions are present.
  • Coordinate field activities among PIPECARE team, subcontractors, clients, and other involved parties.
  • Visit client sites for kick-off meetings, surveys, risk assessments, etc.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by POM or Executive Team within the role.
Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) with 5+ years of operation planning experience.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas, preferably with ILI exposure.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of the local language is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, climb, and access elevated platforms.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to focus and multitask.
  • Willingness to wear safety equipment as required.
  • Sufficient mobility and reflexes to perform duties and travel.
