We are seeking a Senior Merchandise Manager to lead the Merchandising team for a major US brand. This role oversees the full cycle of product development and production execution. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing vendor performance, identifying risks, and ensuring smooth execution across the team.
Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships to support business growth in a fast-changing and competitive market.
Lead and manage the merchandising team with clear direction, transparency, and effective planning to achieve strong business results.
Develop and maintain a solid vendor network locally and regionally to support current and future business needs.
Coordinate and negotiate with vendors on pricing, quality, and order quantities; develop procurement plans and sourcing strategies.
Oversee vendor performance, order management, production tracking through to delivery, and supplier contract requirements.
Identify improvement areas and new sourcing opportunities to drive cost savings and increase speed.
Introduce innovative ideas to enhance workflow and the product development process.
Ensure efficient systems are in place to record and track product engineering changes.
Set and implement office policies, establish operational standards, monitor results against KPIs, and make adjustments as needed.
Handle escalated administrative issues when required.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Experience in garment production for US apparel.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Strong product and material knowledge; familiarity with merchandising and product development processes.
Experience in business development, client management, and relationship building.
Ability to build effective team relationships and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
Result-oriented, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Willing to travel occasionally.
