As a Senior Finance Manager, you will lead the finance function, delivering strategic financial insights and managing a high-performing team. You’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to drive the organization’s financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization’s financial strategies, policies, and frameworks that align with long-term business goals.
- Financial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct in-depth financial analysis—including budgeting, forecasting, variances, and scenario planning—to support decision-making and risk mitigation.
- Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Maintain compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members. Oversee hiring, objective setting, performance management, and professional growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. operations, audit teams, leadership) to ensure clear financial communication and alignment.
- Process Improvement & Controls: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficient financial systems, internal controls, and automation solutions.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews. Monitor risk and compliance, recommending corrective actions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, CIMA or equivalent strongly preferred.
- 7–10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning, analysis, and forecasting.
- Strong proficiency with finance systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle), financial modeling, and advanced Excel.
