Job summary

An engineering company based in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, BQ preparation, and unit price estimation for structural steel work. The role requires at least 7 years of experience in a fabrication environment and the ability to read and interpret complex drawings, alongside strong skills in budget management and reporting. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Estimator in a Fabrication Company.
• Capable of reading, understanding, and calculating work volumes based on drawings.
• Able to work independently or in a team and handle work pressure.

Responsibilities

• Budget planning and control, BQ preparation, and unit price estimation for structural steel fabrication.
• Prepare progress reports and calculate material and tool volumes.
• Calculate work volumes based on drawings for fabrication, architectural, machining, and steel work.
• Make subcon and foreman opnames, study technical specifications and work methods.
• Create analysis reports, prepare budget data, and advise management on budget issues.
