We are seeking a driven and dynamic Sales Executive to accelerate the growth of our branded and licensed IP toys across Indonesia.Your mission is simple: get our products on shelves offline and online and make them move fast.
You will be responsible for driving sell-in and sell-through performance, building strong relationships with retailers and resellers, and turning them into long-term, high-performing accounts. This is not a passive order-taking role youll open new doors, push reorders, and create visibility at the store level to maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Acquisition & Growth
- Open and onboard new retail accounts including modern toy retailers, hobby stores, gift shops, bookstores, lifestyle chains, duty-free outlets, mall pop-ups, and top marketplace sellers (Shopee/Tokopedia).
- Pitch new product collections and upcoming drops to buyers, negotiate commercial terms (margin, buyback, consignment), and close purchase orders.
- Achieve monthly sales targets (GMV, re-order rate, and account activation).
2. Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, merchandisers, and store managers.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively push replenishment to prevent out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
- Manage SKU listings, pricing, and images across online resellers and ensure price discipline.
3. In-Store Execution
- Ensure retail visibility through proper display execution: racks, standees, cashier counters, and impulse zones.
- Coordinate promotional activities such as GWP (gift-with-purchase), bundles, limited drops, or chase figure releases.
- Gather sell-through data and photo proof from stores to measure activation results.
- Track competitor pricing, best-selling SKUs, and trending characters/IPs in kids, teen, and collector markets.
- Provide weekly insights to the product and marketing teams on sell-out performance and upcoming market trends.
- Identify early signals of product hype (e.g., this SKU sold out in 2 days at AEON and Toys Kingdom).
Prepare quotations, invoices, and assist in sales forecasting.
Coordinate with Finance for accounts receivable (AR) and payment follow-up.
Update CRM or sales tracker with new accounts, pipeline value, and next action plans.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly revenue achievement (IDR).
- Number of new active accounts opened per month.
- Reorder frequency and sell-out velocity per account.
- In-store visibility and planogram compliance.
- Quality and timeliness of market intelligence reports.
Requirements
Must-Have
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in consumer goods, toys, collectibles, hobby, stationery, kids, or lifestyle products.
- Fresh graduates with strong entrepreneurial or organizational sales experience will be considered if highly motivated.
- Strong network or ability to engage key accounts such as Toys Kingdom, AEON, Gramedia, Miniso/Daiso-style chains, Urban Icon, airport/lifestyle stores, hobby shops, anime or K-pop merch stores, and top marketplace resellers.
- Confident negotiator: able to discuss margins, listing fees, consignment terms, and return policies.
- Willing to travel frequently within Jabodetabek and to major cities (Bandung, Surabaya, Medan, etc.).
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for sales tracking and margin analysis.
- Passionate about pop culture anime, games, K-pop, collectibles, and blind box culture. You must understand what youre selling and what excites your customers.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in selling licensed IP or character-based products (anime, movie, gaming, or K-pop collaborations).
- Hands-on experience setting up pop-up booths or event kiosks (Comic Con, AFA, Toys Fair).
- Basic understanding of e-commerce sales mechanics (flash sales, vouchers, free shipping, affiliate/KOL programs).
- Hunter mindset: you love opening new accounts and closing deals.
- Persistent & street-smart: you dont hesitate to follow up and chase opportunities.
- Fast communicator: responsive via WhatsApp, agile in field coordination.
- Detail-oriented: careful with SKU codes, pricing, and paperwork.
