Key Responsibilities
  • Segment Growth: Grow the Project cargo segment at country level with a focus on OOG and Breakbulk
  • Commercial Activities: Define target accounts Meet and develop relationship with Project cargo customers
  • Pricing activities: Timely prepare quotations taking into consideration all necessary requirements including cargo type, dimensions, weight, and destination
  • Costs Collection: Collect transportation and handling costs, incorporating factors such as weight, dimensions, routings and special handling requirements for OOG and Breakbulk shipments.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update pricing databases for project cargo, ensuring all information is accurate and easily accessible for reference and analysis
  • Organization development: Roll out / conduct relevant Project Cargo Trainings and provide necessary expertise internally when required
  • Process optimization: Create efficient, effective tools and processes enabling optimal support of business needs jointly with other departments.
  • Market Research: Analyze Project cargo market trends and competitor pricing to provide accurate and competitive pricing
  • Performance Monitoring: Keep track of the quotations conversion rates to successful bookings to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies. Provide insights to management on trends observed in quotation outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3-to-5-year Experience in the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Commercial exposure in a shipping line (with Project Cargo or Dangerous Goods would be an advantage)
  • Experience in pricing, cost analysis, or revenue management within the shipping or transportation sectors.
  • Familiarity with containerized cargo operations is highly beneficial. Understanding of project cargo logistics and operational requirements specific to the industry.
  • Experience working collaboratively with sales, operations, finance or customer service teams to develop and implement pricing strategies.
