Our client, a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction company, is currently looking for a SPECIALIST / PROFESSIONAL in Piping Engineering with details as below.
Responsibilities:
Perform and manage piping engineering activities across all project phases, including estimation, basic design, and detailed design.
Ensure that all piping systems are designed and constructed in compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to the piping engineering team, including problem-solving and troubleshooting of complex issues.
Develop detailed piping designs and layout drawings using CAD software.
Conduct pipe stress analysis and hydraulic calculations for piping systems.
Perform site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and project requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping engineering/design within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
In-depth knowledge and expertise in piping basic and detailed design for process and plant facilities.
Familiar with piping design calculations, including pipe stress analysis and onshore pipeline analysis.
Proficient in using Navisworks, with working knowledge of 3D piping modelling tools such as PDMS or E3D.
Skilled in preparing piping Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimation.
Proven capability and experience in managing piping engineering activities and teams across all engineering phases, including estimation/proposal, basic and detailed design
