About the job Payroll Specialist (Mandarin Speaker)

Our customer, one of the largest logistics companies in Indonesia, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This role requires strong technical expertise in payroll management and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin for business purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement.
  • Calculate and administer payroll components including BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, income tax (PPh 21), allowances, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records and employee data with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees and provide clear resolutions.
  • Prepare regular payroll reports for management and external audits.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties on payroll and tax-related matters.
  • Communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders to support business operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a large-scale or multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, including BPJS and PPh 21 taxation.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Business-level proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is a must.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
