Overview

The Odoo Developer at Vortex will be responsible for designing, customizing, and maintaining ERP solutions using the Odoo platform to support internal operations and educational services. You’ll work closely with product and operations teams to implement business logic, automate workflows, and integrate various modules in alignment with company needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, HR, Accounting, Inventory, etc.)
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions using Python and Odoo framework
• Design and implement business logic, workflows, and reports as needed
• Integrate third-party tools/APIs with Odoo system when required
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Odoo-related issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Provide technical support and training for internal users when needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ERP solutions align with business operations

Requirements

• Proficient in Python and Odoo framework
• Familiar with PostgreSQL database structure and ORM
• Experience customizing existing modules and building new ones
• Familiar with Git and version control workflows
• Bonus if experienced in Linux server environments and deployment processes
