English 1 Indonesia is looking for a National Trainer Manager to develop, train, and support non-academic roles across Indonesia.

THE ROLE

The National Training Manager is responsible for driving employee performance and operational excellence through the planning, development, and execution of targeted training programs for key operational roles across all locations.

This role ensures that Center Directors, Progress Advisors, Course Consultants, and other frontline staff are equipped with the practical knowledge, tools, and skills needed to succeed in their roles.

By focusing on high-impact training delivery, systematized onboarding, and ongoing upskilling, the Training Manager plays a critical role in building staff capability, improving consistency, and supporting national business goals.

Success in this role is measured by training participation and completion rates, improvements in job performance, employee retention, and the consistent application of processes and behaviors across centers.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and prioritize training needs based on business goals, operational challenges, and performance data.

Develop a national training framework tailored to the specific requirements of operational roles.

Create structured training roadmaps that align with employee roles, responsibilities, and progression.

Training Program Delivery

Design and deliver engaging, practical training sessions using a variety of methods (e.g., workshops, coaching, role-play, simulations, Online training).

Oversee the onboarding and induction training process for all new hires in operational roles.

Work closely with regional sales and operations teams to roll out targeted training on key competencies such as sales conversations, customer service, parent communication, and reselling.

Training Operations & Performance Monitoring

Implement systems to track training attendance, completion, and outcomes.

Measure the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics, assessments, and post-training evaluations.

Use data and feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery methods.

Provide guidance and tools to help line managers reinforce training through on-the-job support and performance management.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in training and development
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, distance learning, workshops, etc)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, draw conclusions, and construct a clear narrative
  • Strong writing and record-keeping ability for reports and training manuals
