Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturing company in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and improve maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 15 years of experience in chemical plant maintenance, and strong leadership skills to enhance team performance and equipment reliability. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated maintenance team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in chemical plant maintenance with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Well-versed with rotating equipment (pumps, fans) and static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers).
• Good knowledge of electrical and instrumentation necessary.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities including preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Establish priorities and improve work methods.
• Develop KPI for the department and present in monthly dashboards.

Job description

Bachelor degree (Mechanical Engineering)

Minimal 15 years experiences in chemical plant maintenance with minimal 5 years at managerial position

Well verse with rotating equipment (pumps, fans, etc) and static equipment (like pressure vessels, heat exchangers, vacuum vessels, etc)

Good knowledge of electrical and instrument is necessary

Able to lead the maintenance team to increase MTBF and reduce MTTR; to do effective RCA; improve the skill set of maintenance team

Good project management skill in times of turnaround is added advantage

Responsibility

Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities in the facilities including analyzing equipment needs, reliability issues, developing preventive/predictive maintenance programs, build up asset management system for reliability and availability equipment in plant operational activities

To establish priorities, making improvement in work method and to evaluate modification proposal, failure analysis and unscheduled shutdown

To develop planning and execution of Autonomous Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance and major overhaul /Yearly Turn around activities

To develop KPI Department and present it in monthly dashboard as performance monitoring indicator and optimize maintenance process effectiveness
