Overview

You will assist the Head of Legal in managing all spectrum legal matters to support all functions and ensure their business process and activity comply with prevailing laws and regulations, including projects. The scope will cover:

  • Litigation matters: managed all aspects of litigation records, which included drafting and filing legal documents, attending court, representing the company in legal proceedings, liaising and interpreting legal opinion/information from external law firms in handling cases, and providing strategic advice to stakeholders and senior management on the potential of success and risks associated with the cases.
  • Dispute Resolution: as the subject expert driver to facilitate the resolution of disputes through negotiation or mediation, seeking the best outcomes for the company while at best maintaining positive relationships with counterparties.
  • Compliance: Stay current with relevant laws and regulations governing the financing industry in Indonesia, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all legal requirements and industry standards, including market conduct, collection conduct, manpower, personal data protection, and customer protection.
  • Complaint handling: assisting the stakeholders in handling complaints that the company receives from customers/related parties, regulators, and/or through legal notices or warning letters.
  • Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the company's interests and minimize legal liabilities.
We are looking for talents with
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Law with at least 5 years of working experience, advantage with industry background Financing and/or Banking.
  • Have an advocate license with strong experience in dealing with litigations, disputes, and cases in the court in various streams e.g. Industrial Relations, Commercial, Customers, and/or Corporation.
  • Have a good network and engagement with regulators and government institutions related to the Financial Industry.
  • Having knowledge and exposure to Personal Data Protection regulations and implementation will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Independent, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Good analytical thinking, a problem solver, negotiation, build relations & collaboration.
  • Comfortable working in a high-demand, fast-paced, agile, and dynamic environment.
