Position: Lean Manager

This role is focused on leading and supporting strategic improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations. You will manage cross-functional projects, supervise teams, and apply Lean, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost. You will coach teams, embed a culture of continuous improvement, and help shape how we work.

What You Will Do:

  • Monitoring performance and improvements in key metrics, promoting the use of data to drive project focus
  • Directing, motivating and developing staff to maximize collaboration and professional growth
  • Tracking financial results and reporting on quantifiable goals; estimating future projects from financial, throughput, lead-time, and on-time performance improvements to prioritize projects
  • Training and mentoring employees; educating personnel on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and identifying the best projects for implementation

  • Coaching Others: Knowledge of coaching and mentoring concepts; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Ability to work constructively with a variety of individuals and groups
  • Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects to achieve objectives
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches and tools to recognize, anticipate, and resolve problems; apply solutions to diverse situations
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to determine root causes and create alternatives to resolve problems
  • Six Sigma Methodology: Knowledge of DMAIC and applying it to improve manufacturing processes

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required, Engineering background preferred
  • Experience: 7 to 9 years in lean manufacturing or project management
  • Language Proficiency: English
  • Certification: Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent) or similar process-improvement certification
  • Ability to lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives

Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):

  • Extensive active movement throughout the plant, including climbing stairs, lifting, and pushing/pulling equipment
