A leading heavy equipment dealer in Indonesia is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the full spectrum of warehouse operations. Responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related fields, with a minimum of 5 years in warehouse management, including supervisory experience. The role demands strong leadership and analytical skills, along with familiarity with ERP systems and inventory control methods.
Manage end-to-end warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, issuing, and dispatch of spare parts and materials.
Ensure inventory accuracy between physical stock and system through regular cycle counts and stock opname.
Develop and maintain warehouse layout and storage systems in line with safety and efficiency standards.
Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO methods and proper material handling procedures.
Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse and inventory staff, including shift arrangement and performance monitoring.
Coordinate closely with Procurement, Maintenance, and Operations to ensure material availability and minimize downtime.
Monitor and analyze slow-moving and dead stock, and propose disposal or optimization plans.
Prepare and present regular reports on:
Ensure compliance with SOP, 5S/5R, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.
Support internal and external audits and ensure proper documentation.
Manage warehouse equipment and facilities including forklifts, racking systems, and storage tools.
Drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes and inventory control systems (WMS/ERP).
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Management.
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within heavy equipment/ machinery, mining, automotive, or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment/ machinery spare parts, including engine, hydraulic, electrical, and undercarriage components.
Proven experience with ERP/WMS systems (Odoo, or similar).
Solid understanding of inventory control methods, stock accuracy, and warehouse best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory and operational data.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability.
Familiar with HSE standards and warehouse safety practices.
Willing to work under pressure and in a fast-paced operational environment.
Forklift license and HSE certification are strong advantages.
