Overview

Established in 1980, pioneered the production of viscose staple fibre (VSF) in Indonesia and was also the first to achieve ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certifications as well as the OEKO-TEX certification from BTTG, Europe. The Company's modern plant situated at Purwakarta in West Java commenced commercial production in 1986 with a modest capacity of 16.500 tpa. Through strategic investments in expansion over the years, today it has an installed capacity of over 200.000 tpa and has become the world\'s second largest manufacturer of VSF at a single location. The unit manufactures VSF for both textile and non-woven purposes. The company produces a wide range of VSF in engineered specifications for textile and non-woven applications. Today, our client not only enjoys a dominant share of the domestic market but also caters to a whole gamut of customers in the US, Europe, Turkey, Japan, Korea, China, Morocco, Philippines, Malaysia and other global locations in textile and non-woven segments. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Instrument Engineer to join our client\'s team in Purwakarta, West Java.

Responsibilities
  • To plan and execute the day to day instrument maintenance and modification activities as per the process / internal customer requirement.
  • Troubleshooting and breakdown analysis
  • Reduction in instrumentation downtime and strengthen the instrumentation availability and reliability
  • System improvement, Safety implementation.
  • To understand equipment protection and hazardous area installation.
  • Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective community
  • To understand Instrument drawings, data sheets, I/O wiring diagrams, P&IDs, specifications, calculations, charts and graphic
  • To understand instrument control philosophy, PID control, tuning of control loops, control valves and actuators etc.
  • Material and manpower coordination.
  • Supervision of instrument installations as per the desired quality.
  • Understanding of UPS, instrument and DCS earthing installation and maintenance.
  • Supervise and guide erection, commissioning team to ensure that work is executed safely within time frame.
  • Provide necessary infrastructure and support to team.
  • Prepare documentation related to calibration of instruments
  • To ensure the reliability of the DCS / PLC and maximized the availability.
  • Ensure the implementation of the PM / proactive maintenance and uses of SAP PM module
