Responsibilities

• Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace
• Establish control measures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment
• Lead investigations for incidents, accidents, and near‑misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures
• Prepare and present incident reports to management with recommendations for improvement
• Develop and update emergency response plans and conduct regular drills
• Develop and conduct HSE training sessions for employees at all levels
• Prepare HSE performance reports for management and regulatory authorities
• Maintain records of audits, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7‑10 years in HSE roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory position
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and environmental management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey safety policies and procedures clearly
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure to maintain high safety standards
