About the role

As the QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager at PT Kinden Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. This contract position is based in Jakarta and will involve overseeing the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's QHSE management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring QHSE policies, procedures, and programmes to support the company's overall objectives
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to minimise health, safety, and environmental risks
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations and industry standards
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on QHSE best practices
  • Investigating and reporting on QHSE-related incidents, accidents, and non-conformances
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in QHSE performance
  • Preparing and presenting QHSE-related reports and data analyses to management

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a QHSE management role, preferably within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems and their application
  • Strong knowledge of relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels
  • A proactive and safety-conscious mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Relevant university degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, environmental science, or occupational health and safety)
