About the Role

Responsible for development and implementation of country procurement strategies, category management activities and cost management initiatives across AIA Financial Indonesia entities, working closely with Group Sourcing.

Sourcing Organization Development

• Support Finance and Group Sourcing to build the sourcing and procurement organization including but not limited to target operating model, policy and system implementation.

Sourcing Strategy Development

• Provide inputs in the development of category and sourcing plan that sets short, medium and long term goals and objectives of the function.
• Provide inputs for assessment and management of potential risk associated with different sourcing strategies.

Sourcing Strategy Implementation

• Implement a procurement strategy across AIA Financial Indonesia to deliver target benefits and financial savings.
• Assist and implement group wide sourcing strategies, working closely with Group Sourcing, whenever applicable.
• Engage support and agreement for the strategy from key stakeholders so that implementation and compliance are optimal.
• Promote effective management of suppliers to sustain value throughout the life of the contract.
• Reviewing service areas and potential supplier rationalization

Sourcing Activities Execution

• Responsible for sourcing execution including but not limited to internal requirement analysis, supply market analysis, sourcing strategy development, competitive bidding process, negotiation and contract award.
• Commits to and delivers an annual savings target for managed spend, savings to be tracked in accordance with the benefits tracking guidelines.
• Develop a savings reporting mechanism with Group Sourcing which is understood and accepted by user departments. Produce regular reports on performance and provide comprehensive management information and in-depth analysis when requested including spend analysis, savings secured and potential savings – for forecast and budgets.
• Identifies opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings.
• Define and manage key supplier relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service and quality, including technical input to negotiations on strategically significant contracts.

Knowledge Management

• Provide specialist advice, guidance and service on leading procurement practices to all functions within AIA Financial Indonesia.
• Provide insight through the analysis of spend, supply markets and savings.

Sourcing System Implementation

• Sourcing and Procurement (e.g. Ariba, Concur) related system implementation, process and data champion.
• Lead supplier and catalogue enablement.
