Financial Controller will report to Chief Financial Officer

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls to ensure the company’s financial health and compliance. This role also provides strategic financial insights, manages cash flow, and leads the finance team to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of the annual budget and financial planning for Jakarta Aquarium & Safari, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in line with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity, and oversee treasury activities to ensure financial stability.
  • Analyze budget vs. actual performance to support decision-making and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to audit findings.
  • Provide financial insights to operational departments (Ticketing, F&B, Retail) to optimize costs and improve profitability.
  • Coordinate with the Head Office finance team and external parties such as banks, tax consultants, and auditors.
  • Supervise the finance and accounting team, fostering performance, accuracy, and compliance across daily activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in hospitality, theme parks, or retail.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial dashboards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Able to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines.
