A leading food manufacturing company is seeking an Overseas Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial activities and ensure compliance for its international operations. The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of experience in finance roles within FMCG, strong SAP skills, and be willing to relocate globally. This role requires excellent leadership and analytical abilities to support business growth and financial decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of international financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Fluency in English; additional local language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.

Job description
Position Summary

The Overseas Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for leading all financial, accounting, and compliance activities for Nabati’s international operations. This role MUST be willing to be relocated globally outside Indonesia. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, statutory compliance, and supports business growth through sound financial analysis and decision-making. The position acts as a strategic finance partner to the Country Manager and Regional Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Accounting Operations
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in accordance with company policies and local accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and taxation processes for the assigned country.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure smooth coordination with HQ Finance.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
  • Lead annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations based on business performance.
  • Monitor budget adherence and highlight risks and opportunities to management.
3. Compliance, Audit & Internal Control
  • Ensure full compliance with local statutory requirements, including tax filing, audit, and regulatory obligations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company financial policies.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Monitor cash flow, banking operations, and working capital requirements.
  • Manage payment cycles, fund transfers, and foreign currency exposure.
  • Ensure proper liquidity planning to support business operations.
5. Business Partnership & Commercial Support
  • Provide financial analysis to support commercial decisions, pricing strategies, distributor agreements, and cost optimization.
  • Work closely with Country Manager, Sales, Supply Chain, and Regional Finance to support operational execution.
  • Participate in business reviews and provide recommendations for profitability improvement.
6. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop local finance and accounting staff.
  • Ensure capability building, performance management, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Professional certifications (ACCA/CPA/Brevet C) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Willing to be relocated globally to all overseas countries outside Indonesia
  • Strongly skilled in SAP.
  • Strong understanding of international financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast‑paced cross‑border environment.
