Overview

Field Service Engineering - Entry Professional. This position is responsible for field service (customer site service and in-warranty unit repair) activities involving the installation, modification and repair of complex equipment and systems for single and three phase products. Focus is on service products. The role also involves managing third party Service Vendors (CSPs) for the country and representing the company in day-to-day dealings with CSPs who perform in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs on units.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities including installation, modification and repair of complex equipment and systems for single and three phase products, with emphasis on service products.
• Coordinate and manage third party Service Vendors (CSPs) within the country and oversee their day-to-day interactions for warranty and non-warranty repairs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of industry experience, including at least 12 months of power experience; hands-on work with 415 VAC 3-phase and/or 800 V DC equipment
• Strong understanding of testing, commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, reporting and handover certification
• Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Availability for frequent irregular hours
• Professional, with high integrity and ability to work well in a team
• Excellent communication skills in English and computer literacy
