Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Buyer to manage the Dry/FMCG product category in our quick-commerce retail business. You will be responsible for product sourcing, supplier management, pricing strategies, category development, and increasing sales growth through strategic product selection and promotions. You will be based in our Jakarta office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
  • Develop merchandising strategies for Dry categories that align with Grab's goals, customer preferences, and market trends.
  • Identify, source, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, high-quality products, reliable supply, and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Analyze sales data, market demand, and customer behavior to increase product assortment, inventory management, and category performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships through performance evaluations, compliance monitoring, and joint business planning.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, operations, marketing, and strategic planning teams to ensure the delivery, proper handling, and execution of promotional campaigns and product launches.
