Qualifications & experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling operations.
• Proven experience in oil and gas industry.
• Experience in planning and executing drilling projects from design to abandonment.
• Strong technical competencies in: Drilling operations, Formation evaluation while drilling, Planning and scheduling, Pore pressure and fracture gradient prediction, Rig equipment design and selection.
• Skilled in cost estimation, budgeting, and monitoring daily operations.
• Ability to analyze data, forecast production, and optimize drilling performance.
• Familiar with environmental and safety regulations in drilling projects.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all drilling activities, from initial exploration to the extraction of oil and gas with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Identify, assess, and analyze risks from subsurface activities related to drilling activities facing the company.
• Ensure and identify any potential issues or areas for improvement to achieve the drilling operations performance.
