A leading energy provider in Indonesia is seeking a Legal Advisor to handle lawsuits and ensure compliance with mining regulations. The ideal candidate will have a law degree, significant experience in litigation, and a strong understanding of environmental and corporate law. The role involves preparing legal documentation and providing guidance on operational risks related to legal affairs.
Represent the company in lawsuits, arbitration, and mediation concerning environmental issues, contracts, labor disputes, land ownership, and mining regulations.
Prepare legal documents such as motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
Ensure that the company complies with all local, state, and federal mining laws and environmental regulations.
Provide legal guidance to minimize operational risks related to land disputes, environmental liabilities, and worker safety regulations.
Provide legal support for human resource issues, especially regarding labor law compliance and disputes.
Oversee investigations of accidents, safety incidents, or regulatory breaches to ensure legal compliance and mitigate potential litigation.
Law degree with specialization in corporate law, environmental law, or mining law.
5-10 years of experience in litigation or legal advisory roles within the mining or energy sector.
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil, criminal, and corporate fields.
PERADI membership card.
Understanding and experience in managing the basic legality of a business entity, as well as permits.
Mastering the management of: SHM, AJB, SIUP, TDP based on OSS.
Able to prepare agreement documents and contracts in English.
