We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially savvy Commercial Business Manager with a strong background in marketing and procurement within the petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will possess 5–7 years of hands‑on experience across mainstream commercial functions, business development, supply chain operations, and commodity trading of petrochemical products. You will play a pivotal role in developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and expanding our market presence in both local and international markets.
Lead end‑to‑end marketing and procurement activities for petrochemical and commodity products, including market analysis, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
Drive business development efforts, identifying new commercial opportunities and partnerships in key petrochemical markets.
Conduct market intelligence and trend analysis to support pricing strategy, product positioning, and risk mitigation.
Manage relationships with global and regional suppliers, traders, and customers, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable supply.
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share and enhance profitability in existing and new segments.
Oversee contract negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier performance management.
Ensure compliance with trade regulations, import/export documentation, and internal procurement policies.
Provide regular reporting on commodity price trends, supply‑demand dynamics, and procurement performance metrics.
Support digitalisation initiatives and process optimisation across marketing and procurement functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
5–7 years of experience in the petrochemical industry, with proven exposure to marketing, commercial operations, business development, and procurement.
In‑depth understanding of commodity and petrochemical product markets, including market pricing, logistics, and trade compliance.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and external partners.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement tools, and industry‑standard platforms for commodity tracking.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
