We’re looking for a hands‑on, detail‑obsessed bookkeeper who takes pride in keeping the books clean and reconciled.

Geobotica is a small but fast‑moving technology company working at the intersection of remote sensing, robotics, and geohazard risks. Our systems monitor landscapes — from city streets to slopes and tunnels — helping keep people safe from collapses, subsidence, and landslides.

We're now looking for a full‑time onsite bookkeeper based in Bali. This is a doing role, not a management position. You’ll be our finance point‑person on the ground — keeping the books tight, the payroll running, and the tax filings smooth across both Indonesian and Australian operations.

🧾 What you'll do

  • Day‑to‑day bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in Xero
  • Maintain up‑to‑date ledgers, clean GLs, and complete documentation
  • Manage payroll, invoicing, and supplier payments (ID and AU)
  • Help prepare monthly reports: P&L and Balance Sheet (cash basis)
  • Support tax and compliance tasks (e.g., BPJS, PPh 21/23, VAT, BAS prep)
  • Occasionally assist with admin and logistics (e.g., placing orders, freight)

✅ You’re a great fit if you:

  • Are based in Bali or are happy to relocate from another Indonesian location, and ready for a full‑time onsite role
  • Have 3+ years experience in a hands‑on bookkeeping role
  • Speak and write fluent English
  • Are confident with Xero (ideally certified)
  • Have exposure to both Indonesian and Australian tax/compliance
  • Are highly organised, reliable, and love spotting errors before anyone else
