Overview

We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer who will be responsible for delivering automation projects, from front-end design to execution and qualification. This role will also serve as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for Operational Technology & Automation.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to Operational Technology cybersecurity and obsolescence.
  • Design, develop, implement, and support control systems technologies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, meeting performance objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure the site operates with manageable foreseen risk related to Operational Technology obsolescence and cybersecurity.
Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Minimum high school education with a background in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the related field.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role

  • Proven experience in Automation and Special Purpose Machinery Projects.
  • Knowledge in Engineering Design, PLC, Sensors, Robotics, Pneumatic Systems, and Instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with computer systems, databases, and networking, including industrial communication protocols.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Teamwork and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Logical and structural thinking with the ability to create designs from scratch.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy (minimum: Office, AutoCAD).
  • Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Instrument calibration certification.
  • Network cybersecurity certification.
