A leading fast-food chain in Preston is looking for a Crew Member. You will be responsible for preparing food, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. This role requires teamwork and a commitment to customer service. What type of questions do you ask at an interview? The interview is an absolutely vital part of our hiring process. It helps us understand what kind of person you are and whether you’d be a great fit at McDonald’s. The interview will normally involve questions around values and attitudes and will allow you to show us why you’re the right person for the job, for example examples of times you’ve worked as part of a team and how you contributed. We look for people with the right attitudes and behaviours to deliver a great customer and colleague experience; we hire for qualities and potential, not just qualifications.

Evening shifts may extend past 1am. If you work overnights (midnight to 5am), you’ll earn extra pay. All team members, including hourly-paid workers, earn above the national minimum wage. We offer a range of benefits including holiday and sick pay, and employee discounts at over 1,600 retailers. If you work in a franchised restaurant, pay frequency may vary.

This can vary by restaurant type and role. Typically, hourly paid employees are paid every 2 or 4 weeks; salaried employees are paid monthly.
Restaurant hours vary by location; most shifts are scheduled to suit you while respecting business needs. You’ll wear a supplied uniform.
