Registered Veterinary Nurse at Pet Doctors Woking for Maternity Leave Cover

• Full Time or Part Time.
• 40 hours per week. 4 or 5 days a week and 1 in 6 Saturdays plus 1 in 6 Bank holidays. Shifts working 7.45am - 7.15pm.

We are searching for a driven Registered Veterinary Nurse who thrives in busy, fast paced environments to join the great team at Pet Doctors Woking to cover maternity leave on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role:

• We are a busy 24hr practice that has our own OOH service and all the modern equipment expected to be able to facilitate your role.
• Our large team is made up of 6FTE Vets and 2 P/T Vets. We also are lucky to have our 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 SVNs and 2 PCAs plus an experienced team of receptionists.
• With a wide range of unique cases, this is a great practice to enhance experience and skills.
• Work as an active member of the clinical support team.
• Determined to provide the highest standards of client service and patient care.
• Ensure great communication with all colleagues in the Practice.
• Provide assistance for the Veterinary Surgeons within the Practice.
• Attend CVS's H&S policies and training as required.
• Flexibility to work in different areas such as consults, dispensary, operations and in-patients.

• Proven general practice skills and surgery experience
• Strong focus on exceptional patient care
• Eagerness to learn and develop
• Clinical coaching experience or interest preferred but not essential
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others
• Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact
