A veterinary healthcare provider in the North East of England seeks a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their Surgical Nursing Team. You will provide complex inpatient care, deliver anaesthesia for various surgical procedures, and support advanced surgeries. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical ability and strong communication skills. We are seeking a motivated and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our dedicated Surgical Nursing Team, supporting both our Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue departments. Our hospital is staffed by highly skilled RVNs 24/7, 365 days a year, delivering exceptional referral and ECC care to our patients. You will be part of a well-established surgical team comprising three European diplomate specialist surgeons, one RCVS specialist, Surgical Residents, Surgical Interns, and a team of 21 experienced RVNs, supported by Student Veterinary Nurses and Patient Care Assistants. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be involved in the day-to-day running of both surgical departments, including providing complex inpatient care, delivering anaesthesia for diagnostic imaging and a wide range of surgical procedures, and supporting cases such as abdominal and thoracic surgery, fracture repairs, cruciate surgery, joint replacements, and advanced wound management.
