Job Title

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

Location

Victoria Vets, Glossop

Hours

4 days, shifts between 8am-7.30 pm, 1:6 Saturday morning consulting (plus inpatient care)

Salary

Up to £63,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

We’re seeking a Senior Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical leadership to work with our Lead Veterinary Surgeon in supporting our team and maintaining clinical excellence and ongoing success at our practice.

The team

We have a supportive team culture where we value collaboration, open communication, and looking out for each other. You will work alongside a dedicated, friendly team with a range of experience, who value collaboration and mentorship.

The team consists of 8 vets, 10 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 PCA and 9 Client care associates across 2 branches supporting our wonderful practice.

We have digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, an in‑house laboratory suite, and have recently upgraded our ultrasound and endoscopy equipment.

What we’re looking for
  • RCVS qualified Veterinary Surgeon
  • Medical or ECC Certification, or bias of clinical experience in these fields would be advantageous
  • A confident clinician able to promote high standards or care and client services, while leading with empathy and clarity
  • Help drive clinical governance and ensure compliance with practice protocols.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys collaborating with others while maintaining a positive team culture.
  • Ability to make informed clinical decision and interpret diagnostics.
