A leading university in London seeks a Placements and Internships Coordinator to manage the administration of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Responsibilities include overseeing the exam process, module registration, and maintaining stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and experience in handling high workloads. Competitive salary ranging from £44,288 to £51,755 per annum.
The School of Society and Environment are pleased to announce that we are seeking an exceptional individual to take up the role of Placements and Internships Coordinator.
You will oversee and manage the administration of both the Undergraduate and taught Postgraduate programmes within the School of Society and Environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of a responsive and accurate exam process for multiple diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This will involve overseeing and administering module registration, examinations, timetabling and other quality assurance processes. The role will involve maintaining strong professional relationships with stakeholders including students, staff members (both internal and external), TATFs, External Examiners and professional support staff. You will work closely with the Education, Quality and Student Experience Manager within the School to discuss and agree on strategies relating to education for the programmes, and also to ensure that processes and procedures are in place so that administrative systems run smoothly for teaching activities and assessment. This role will also manage the Education & Quality Officers.
You will have excellent organisational skills; you will demonstrate a good use of initiative & have the ability to multi-task and prioritise a high workload. Attention to detail and good administrative record keeping are essential.
The School of Society and Environment at Queen Mary University of London is made up of three academic departments, History, Geography, and Politics & International Relations.
