Job summary
An educational tutoring organization is looking for a part-time tutor to provide Numeracy and Literacy tuition to KS1/KS2 students. This role requires a creative and patient individual who can engage vulnerable learners. The position offers flexible hours and is aimed at making a real difference in students' educational journeys.

Prospero teaching is currently looking for a tutor experienced in providing tuition to KS1/KS2 students, using a flexible, creative and nurturing approach. The tutor will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at risk students in the early years of their educational journey. The successful tutor will be patient, empathetic and able to create and deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis.
Provide tailored Numeracy and Literacy tuition to KS1/KS2 students in a 1 to 1 setting. Create and deliver learning plans that re-engage students with education and bring structure to their daily routine. Deliver high quality and engaging support that aligns with each learner’s needs.

- Minimum rate of pay: £25 per hour
- Hours: Flexible, depending on family timings
- QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience
- UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
- Creative, patient and willing to think outside the box
- Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
